Soccer Recap: Hayes Takes a Loss

Hayes managed to keep up with Big Walnut until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Pacers lost 7-4 to the Golden Eagles. While losing is never fun, Hayes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 231st, while Big Walnut are ranked 94th).

Hayes' loss dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for Big Walnut, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Hayes will head out to face off against Westerville North at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Big Walnut, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, an 8-3 win against Watkins Memorial on the 30th.
