Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Meridian). They were the clear victors by a 23-6 margin over the Annandale Atoms on Wednesday. The Mustangs have beaten the Atoms the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Atoms has come to flipping the script.

Meridian's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Annandale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Meridian will challenge Millbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs are facing the Pioneers at the right time seeing as the Pioneers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Annandale, they will square off against Edison at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
