The matchup between Iowa-Grant and Boscobel  on Monday hardly resembled the  2-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Panthers' pitcher stepped up to hand the Bulldogs  a   20-0 shutout. With that  win, the Panthers brought their scoring average up to 6.9  runs per game.
 Quinn Hoeper made a splash no matter where she played. She  struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits (and only one walk). Hoeper was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news, Iowa-Grant got a  massive  performance out of  Trinity Baker, who  went 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and two  runs.  Carly Shores was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs.
 Iowa-Grant  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .686. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Iowa-Grant is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Boscobel,  they are  on  an  eight-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
 Coming up, Iowa-Grant will welcome Mineral Point  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Pointers will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Boscobel, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Southwestern  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
