Softball Recap: Evanston Comes Up Short

Evanston lost to Saint Ignatius College Prep back in March of 2016 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildkits came up short against the Wolfpack, falling 13-2. The Wildkits have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Evanston saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Siena Bowen, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Evanston's loss dropped their record down to 3-25-2. As for Saint Ignatius College Prep, their record now sits at 27-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Evanston will face off against Highland Park at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Saint Ignatius College Prep, they will head out to challenge Maine South at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolfpack's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
