Baseball Recap: Harvard Comes Up Short

Harvard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 9-2 to the Crystal Lake South Gators. If the Hornets were looking for revenge after losing 25-8 to the Gators when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Harvard's loss dropped their record down to 5-23. As for Crystal Lake South, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 20-11 record this season.

Harvard didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-0 defeat against Rochelle on the 22nd. As for Crystal Lake South, they have also already played their next game, an 8-0 win against Belvidere on the 22nd.
