Football Recap: Notre Dame Comes Up Short on the Road Against Ludlowe

Notre Dame had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 38-34 to the Ludlowe Falcons. The Green Knights lost against the Falcons in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 48-14 score last time.

Notre Dame's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joe Capasso, who rushed for 89 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 136 yards and one TD. Another rusher making a difference was Luke Miklos, who rushed for 129 yards and one score while picking up 7.6 yards per carry.
