Football Recap: Louisiana Takes a Loss

Louisiana was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Salisbury Panthers, falling 65-14. The Bulldogs lost against the Panthers in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 24-8 score last time.

Louisiana's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Salisbury, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Looking ahead, Louisiana will host Mark Twain at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 40.14 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Salisbury, they will head out to square off against Crest Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
