Kaston Vega Crosses Big Stat Threshold

Kaston Vega's big game helped extend Stamford's winning streak to six on Friday. Vega was excellent, rushing for 109 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.2 rushing touchdowns per game. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making 17 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

The victory for Hawley keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Barker and Hawley will look to defend their home field on Friday against Olney at 7:00 p.m.

Mccomack Made His Presence Known in Olney's 35-6 Victory

Camron McComack continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his fourth-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 123 rushing yards. He rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry.

On the year, McComack has averaged 60.3 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he was only averaging 6.83 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 119 rushing yards.
