Atlantic Shores Christian dropped down to 5-5 on Friday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins. They came up short against the St. Anne's-Belfield Saints, falling 36-15. The Seahawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Saints apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

As for St. Anne's-Belfield, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 43.6 points this season.

It was another big night for Jonah Brent, who rushed for 106 yards and two TDs on only 12 carries, and also picked up 40 receiving yards and one score. His longest rush was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Haden Morris was another key player, throwing for 214 yards and three touchdowns.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Atlantic Shores Christian will face off against Isle of Wight Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Anne's-Belfield, they will challenge Nansemond-Suffolk Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
