Football Recap: Saint Mary's Panthers vs. Vallejo Redhawks
A win for Saint Mary just wasn't in the cards on Saturday as the team wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They had to suffer through a 54-27 loss at the hands of the Vallejo Redhawks. Saint Mary's also got a significant boost from Khalil Chaney, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 87 yards.

Vaughn gained 280 total yards and five touchdowns, while Buddha Bernstine Iii threw for 400 yards and six touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes. Vaughn really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 72 yards.
This is the second loss in a row for Saint Mary's and nudges their season record down to 5-5. As for Vallejo, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
