Basketball Recap: Ichabod Crane Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lansingburgh last Saturday, Ichabod Crane came back down to earth. The Ichabod Crane Riders took a 56-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the La Salle Institute Cadets. The Riders were not able to make up for their loss to the Cadets from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Ichabod Crane has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for La Salle Institute, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ichabod Crane and Hudson will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. As for La Salle Institute, they will head out to square off against Catholic Central at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Catholic Central's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 14 matches.
