Volleyball Recap: Canyon Hills Starts off Right with Win over Rock Academy + How To Watch

Canyon Hills took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Rock Academy Warriors, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Rattlers have posted since September 26, 2024.

Rock Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Alexa Baird, who had 14 kills, three digs, three aces, and one block. She has been hot for a while, having posted six or more kills the last 16 times she's played. Daniella Lara was another key player, getting two aces and one block.

Rock Academy now has a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Canyon Hills will welcome San Diego at 6:00 p.m. on September 3. After both having extra time off, Rock Academy and Coastal Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors are facing the Stingrays at the right time seeing as the Stingrays are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
