League recap: Potterville stuns Bath in upset

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Potterville, who defeated 334th ranked Bath, 26-13.

Pewamo-Westphalia added to the longest winning streak in Central Michigan this week by beating Fulton, 55-7. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Pirates.

Fowler's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Mason Miller threw for 90 and 2 touchdowns and Thomas Horak had 45 yards receiving. On the ground Austin Cook chipped in 112 yards.

Cook was a passing and rushing force as the Eagles beat Saranac.

Cook was the best running back in the league this week. In 14 carries, he ran for 112 yards as Fowler defeated the Redskins. Austin Feldpausch also contributed to the rushing game with 50 yards on the ground.

Fowler's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Miller has thrown for 423 yards and 4 touchdowns this season, while Horak has 7 catches for 222 yards.

As it stands, the Vikings are in fourth, while Dansville is in third.

Potterville scaled the state rankings by moving to 431 from 489 this week, the biggest jump in the league. Paul Davis' team was able to move up by besting the Fighting Bees 26-13.
