Upperman entered their tilt with Cumberland County on Friday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cumberland County Jets 85-51. Given the Bees' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 34th, while the Jets are ranked 260th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Upperman's victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.2 points per game. As for Cumberland County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Upperman will head out to take on Stone Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st. As for Cumberland County, they will head out on the road to square off against Bledsoe County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
