Basketball Recap: Twinfield Takes Down Bellows Free Academy in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Twinfield had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Bellows Free Academy Bullets, posting a 59-30 victory. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 22 points or more this season.

Twinfield is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points over those games. Bellows Free Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.

Twinfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 63-37 win against Winooski on the 22nd. As for Bellows Free Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on Hazen at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
