Agua Dulce had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 41.2 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They breezed past the Ben Bolt Badgers to the tune of 50-22. For the Longhorns, this counts as revenge for the 28-6 victory the Badgers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Agua Dulce had a senior duo take command as Aiden Martinez rushed for 194 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry and Lane Ranly threw for 212 yards and five TDs. Those five passing touchdowns set a new season-high mark for Ranly.

Agua Dulce didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Lathan Ranly and Kayden King.

Agua Dulce's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Ben Bolt, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Agua Dulce is set to square off against their familiar foe La Villa at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 840 yards in their previous games. Meanwhile, Ben Bolt will challenge rival Woodsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
