Softball Recap: Wesleyan Christian Academy Wins Going Away Against Ravenscroft

Wesleyan Christian Academy won against Forsyth Home Educators on Thursday with 13 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. Everything went the Trojans' way against the Ravenscroft Ravens as they made off with a 13-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Ravens: they've now won five in a row.

Alexis Emery was incredible, firing off two home runs, seven RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-4. Those seven RBI gave her a new career-high. Juliana Abantohollans was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.

Wesleyan Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Wesleyan Christian Academy now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Ravenscroft, they dropped their record down to 3-13 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Wesleyan Christian Academy will face off against Charlotte Latin at 5:00 a.m. on Thursday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 10 runs per game this season. Ravenscroft does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
