Softball Recap: Juan Diego Catholic Takes a Loss

Juan Diego Catholic lost against Cedar Valley back in May of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 9-7 to the Cedar Valley Aviators, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Soaring Eagle have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Olivia Jewkes was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Olivia Sedillo was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Juan Diego Catholic now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Cedar Valley, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Juan Diego Catholic has already played their next game, a 13-1 win against Millard on the 7th. As for Cedar Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 8-6 defeat against Olympus on the 7th.
