Lakeside won the last time they faced Natoma and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Knights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Lakeside who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-22, 17-25, 25-12.

Lakeside can attribute much of their success to Addison Schmitt, who had 14 digs and two aces.

Schmitt wasn't the only good servers: Lakeside was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. The Knights are 8-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Lakeside's win bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Natoma, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-21.

Lakeside has already played their next match (against Rock Hills), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Natoma, they will take on Pike Valley on Tuesday.
