Football Recap: Rushil Allada Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Bridgeport

Ranchview's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Bridgeport Bulls 40-14. The Wolves pushed the score to 40-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulls cut but never quite recovered from.

Ranchview's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rushil Allada, who threw for 354 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 15.4 yards per attempt. Allada's passing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 302 passing yards. Devin Scott was in the mix too, providing Ranchview with two TDs.

Ranchview was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 210 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

The win got Ranchview back to even at 2-2. As for Bridgeport, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Ranchview and Bridgeport will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Wolves see the field they'll take on Alvarado at 7:30 p.m. on the 10th. As for Bridgeport, their break will end when they face Mineral Wells at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th.
