Nolan Werle turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two earned runs surrendered on Saturday. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Space Coast back in March of 2025, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Werle is becoming a predictor of Palm Bay's success: when he allows at most three hits the team is 5-1 (and 8-9 when he doesn't).

Coming up, Werle and Palm Bay will square off against Rockledge at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The last time these two faced off, Werle and Co. were forced to settle for a 6-1 loss.
