Softball Recap: Lead Hill Comes Up Short

If Lead Hill was feeling good fresh off their 20-6 takedown of Omaha last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers came up short against the Jasper Pirates on Tuesday, falling 22-3. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost three in a row.

Lead Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Jasper, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lead Hill will venture away from home to take on Norfork at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jasper, they will head out to face off against Hector at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
