Baseball Recap: Holy Cross Comes Up Short

Holy Cross was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 7-2 to the St. Francis Prep Terriers. Knights fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Terriers since on Monday.

Holy Cross' loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for St. Francis Prep, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Holy Cross is set to take on their familiar foe St. John's Prep at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, St. Francis Prep will face off against rival Xaverian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
