Basketball Recap: Franklin Victorious

Franklin won the last time they faced Tuscola and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers came out on top against the Mountaineers by a score of 50-41.

Franklin found their leader in sophomore Bristol Brooks, who posted 15 points. Layla Maloy was another key player, putting up nine points.

Tuscola's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Vesper Forbes, who shot 46% from the field to rack up 13 points and eight boards. Forbes has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kendall Williamson, who earned four points along with 13 boards and three steals.
