Baseball Game Preview: Wauseon Indians vs. Bellevue Redmen

The Wauseon Indians will venture away from home to square off against the Bellevue Redmen at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bellevue took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Wauseon, who comes in off a win.

Wauseon took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Archbold, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Indians never let the Blue Streaks get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Indians have posted since May 10, 2024.

Meanwhile, Bellevue came up short against Norwalk on Wednesday and fell 6-2. The Redmen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The win made it two in a row for Wauseon and bumps their season record up to 3-6. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Bellevue, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Wauseon was able to grind out a solid win over Bellevue in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 12-8. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Redmen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
