Baseball Game Preview: New Covenant Academy Warriors vs. Blue Eye Bulldogs

The New Covenant Academy Warriors will square off against the Blue Eye Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Monday, New Covenant Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Sparta and fell 4-3.

New Covenant Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Samuel Dauber, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Landon Link also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Blue Eye). They put the hurt on Spokane with a sharp 10-3 victory on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Owls: they've now won three in a row.

New Covenant Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Blue Eye, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

New Covenant Academy skirted past Blue Eye 5-3 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
