Football Game Recap: Smith County vs. Macon County

Macon County had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. On Friday, they came up short against Smith County, falling 14-28. If Macon County were hoping for some payback for the 22-39 loss against Smith County the last time the two teams met, then they were disappointed. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Macon County off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Smith County a 1-0 record.

Next week, Macon County take on Westmoreland at 7:00 PM. As for Smith County, they will face of against Gordonsville.
