Everything went their way against the Anderson Raptors on Wednesday as the Lebanon Warriors made off with an 83-57 win. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 227th, while the Raptors are ranked 461st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Anderson's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lucas Callahan, who posted 14 points and seven boards. Those seven rebounds gave Callahan a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Trace Jallick, who earned 12 points and seven assists.
The victory got Lebanon back to even at 10-10. As for Anderson, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lebanon will face off against Loveland at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
