Toombs County skates past Twiggs County with ease

The Toombs County Bulldogs can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent match on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 70-39 victory over Twiggs County on the road. The score was close at the half, but Toombs County pulled away in the second half with 44 points.

Demetrius Cutler continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Parker Stanley, who scored eight points along with four steals and two blocks.

Despite the loss, Twiggs County still got an impressive performance from Daniel Pitts, who scored ten points. Keyontae Rozier was another key contributor, scoring six points.

The win (which was Toombs County's ninth in a row) raised their record to 18-2. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28.7 points. As for Twiggs County, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.

Toombs County and Appling County will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Toombs County is coming into the match with seven straight victories on the road, so Appling County is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Twiggs County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wilkinson County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wilkinson County will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Twiggs County surely won't give up without a fight.
