Soccer Recap: Cheatham County Central Takes a Loss

Cheatham County Central managed to keep up with Kirkwood until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Cubs came up short against the Cobras, falling 5-0. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, Cheatham County Central's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Cheatham County Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Kirkwood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Cheatham County Central will take on Harpeth at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kirkwood, they will challenge Northeast at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
