Baseball Recap: Altha's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak at Home

Altha fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Rocky Bayou Christian on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 4-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 on March 6th.

Altha saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riley Rowe, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Altha's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4. As for Rocky Bayou Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Altha Wildcats duke it out with L.E.A.D. Academy Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. L.E.A.D. Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Altha surely won't give up without a fight. As for Rocky Bayou Christian, they will be playing at home against Baker at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
