Volleyball Recap: Hillhouse Comes Up Short

Hillhouse was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Hamden Green Dragons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Green Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Hamden scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-19, 25-18.

Hillhouse's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Hamden, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Hillhouse and West Haven will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on the 17th. As for Hamden, they are taking a road trip to square off against Law at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
