            The West Florida Jaguars and the Centennial Eagles will round out the year against one another at  at 7:50  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
It was a proper cat-fight when  West Florida took on Pensacola on Tuesday. West Florida lost to Pensacola on the road  by a   50-33 margin. The  game marked the Jaguars' lowest-scoring  matchup so far this season.
 West Florida's  defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of  Amani Bartholomew, who  posted nine points in addition to six  rebounds and six  steals, and  Kamora Harris, who  had nine points. Bartholomew is becoming a predictor of West Florida's success: when she posts  at  least five  steals the team is 6-2 (and 2-3 when she doesn't).
 Meanwhile, Centennial might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting King's Academy an easy  67-46 win. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings  (they are ranked 84th, while the Lions are ranked 12th).
 This is the second loss in a row for Centennial and  nudges their season record down to 6-4. As for West Florida, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
