Basketball Recap: Bayside Comes Up Short

Bayside lost against Kempsville back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bayside Marlins were dealt a 54-24 defeat at the hands of the Kempsville Chiefs. The Marlins just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row dating back to last season.

Bayside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Kempsville, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Bayside won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Norfolk Collegiate at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bayside is facing Norfolk Collegiate at the right time seeing as Norfolk Collegiate is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Kempsville, they will head out on the road to challenge Green Run at 7:00 p.m. on December 17th.
