Football Recap: Southern Regional Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Southern Regional couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 28-7 to the Kingsway Dragons on Friday. The game was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the Rams couldn't quite close it out.

Southern Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Kingsway, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Southern Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kingsway, they will challenge Atlantic City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings' defense has only allowed 11.8 points per game this season, so the Dragons' offense will have their work cut out for them.
