Baseball Recap: Washington Has No Trouble Against Schlagle

Washington won the last time they faced Schlagle and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wildcats blew past the Stallions 15-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Washington got a massive performance out of Chris Reno, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Reno has become a key player for the Wildcats: the team is 4-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-10 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jason Mielkus, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Washington kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 3-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Washington's record is now 7-12. As for Schlagle, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.
