Auburn is a perfect 10-0 against Smiths Station since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Auburn will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Auburn faced off against Prattville Christian Academy on Tuesday. The Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Panthers.

Auburn wouldn't go down easily and took Prattville Christian Academy into a fifth set where they got it done with a nine-point win. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 20-25, 21-25, 25-23, 15-6.

Meanwhile, Smiths Station came up short against Northside on Monday and fell 2-0. The Panthers have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Smiths Station was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 26-24.

Smiths Station's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Auburn, their victory bumped their record up to 17-10.

Auburn took their win against Smiths Station in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
