            Softball Recap: Sage Creek Bobcats vs. Mission Vista        
        
		
        
        
            Sage Creek barely beat Mission Vista the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bobcats were the clear victors by  a  10-1 margin over Mission Vista on Tuesday. The Bobcats not only won  on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win  since March 20th (when they won  18-0).
The team  relied heavily on  Kaimana Coleman, who  went 3-for-4 with one  home run and six  RBI. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in May of 2024.  Makena Coleman was another key player,  going 3-for-5 with two  runs and two  RBI.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Sage Creek  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 15  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.

The  victory (which was Sage Creek's third in a row) raised their record to 9-8-1. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Mission Vista, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record  this season.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sage Creek is set to  square off against  their familiar foe La Costa Canyon  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mission Vista will  take on  rival Torrey Pines  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
