Basketball Recap: Alliance Health Services Academy Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Alliance Health Services Academy Wolves had to suffer through a 65-30 loss at the hands of the Animo Leadership Aztec Eagles.

It was another big night for Ace Jordan, who dropped a double-double on 35 points and ten boards for Animo Leadership. That makes it six consecutive games in which Jordan has scored at least a third of Animo Leadership's points. Anthony Guillen was another key player, putting up eight points.

Alliance Health Services Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Animo Leadership, they moved to 7-7 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Alliance Health Services Academy will head out on the road to face off against Magnolia Science Academy Carson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Animo Leadership, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-32 victory against Animo City of Champions on the 15th.
