North Brunswick hadn't done well against Hoggard recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The North Brunswick Scorpions narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Hoggard Vikings 4-2. For the Scorpions, this counts as revenge for the 5-3 win the Vikings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Fisher Goodwin was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI.

North Brunswick now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Hoggard, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-5 record.
