Basketball Game Preview: Kenton Wildcats vs. Celina Bulldogs

Kenton and Celina are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2015, but not for long. The Kenton Wildcats will host the Celina Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Kenton is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games.

On Tuesday, Kenton beat Columbian 42-34. The 42-point effort marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Celina). They snuck past New Knoxville with a 53-49 victory on Saturday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Kenton pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Celina, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.
