Basketball Game Preview: Kendrick Tigers vs. Logos Knights

Kendrick hasn't had much luck against Logos recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Kendrick Tigers will face off against the Logos Knights at 6:00 p.m. Kendrick will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Last Wednesday, Kendrick was able to grind out a solid victory over Potlatch, taking the game 51-44.

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Logos' strategy against Troy on Wednesday. Logos was the clear victors by a 68-43 margin over Troy. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Kendrick's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points over those games. As for Logos, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Kendrick took a serious blow against Logos when the teams last played back in January, falling 83-55. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Logos' Seamus Wilson, who went 15-for-23 en route to 40 points along with seven steals and six assists. Now that Kendrick knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
