Softball Game Preview: West Iredell Warriors vs. North Lincoln Knights

West Iredell hasn't had much luck against North Lincoln recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Warriors will head out to challenge the Knights at 6:00 p.m. West Iredell has given up an average of 9.1 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

West Iredell is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 25 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against North Lincoln on Tuesday. They lost 12-0 to the Knights.

For North Lincoln's part, they got a massive performance out of Izzy Ingalls, who scored a run while going 3-for-3. What's more, Ingalls posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Parker, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

North Lincoln always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Iredell only posted an OBP of .192.

North Lincoln's loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-3. As for West Iredell, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
