After losing to Pahrump Valley the last time they met, Moapa Valley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Pirates secured a 49-44 W over the Trojans on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

Ella Odegard and Kaitlyn Brown certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Odegard posted 12 points, while Brown went 5-for-7 en route to 19 points and seven rebounds.

Moapa Valley's record is now 13-8. As for Pahrump Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Moapa Valley is set to challenge their familiar foe Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Pahrump Valley will face off against rival The Meadows School at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
