Recap: Sayre Spartans vs. Bluegrass United Bluehawks

The Sayre Spartans were the 63-52 winner over the Bluegrass United Bluehawks when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Sayre fell 47-40 to Bluegrass United on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Sayre can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 234th, while Bluegrass United is ranked 57th).

Grace Hanlon continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Bluegrass United, scoring 18 points along with six rebounds and six steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Hanlon has scored at least 25% of Bluegrass United's points. Another player making a difference was Allie McGuire, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and six steals.
