Lone Star won the last time they faced Memorial and things went their way on Saturday too. The Rangers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Warriors, sneaking past 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rangers have posted since August 15th.

Lyla Crowder paced Lone Star's offense, picking up 16 kills. Crowder got some help from Kaitlyn Smith and her 13 assists. Crowder was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Despite the loss, Memorial still got an impressive performance from Ava Funderburk, who had nine digs and two aces. Cailin McNamara also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Lone Star's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Memorial, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-6.

Lone Star didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Wylie on the 23rd. As for Memorial, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against The Colony on the 26th.
