After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Carmel, McCutcheon was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the Lafayette Central Catholic Knights 3-0. The Mavericks haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-20, 25-11.

Mackenzie Taylor went supernova, getting 12 digs and five aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last 13 matchups.

McCutcheon's victory bumped their record up to 12-17. As for Lafayette Central Catholic, they dropped their record down to 13-15 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
