Two dominant guards in Whitney Cameron and Mykah Collier-Fisher are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Corinth Riverhawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lake George Lakers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Corinth will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Corinth is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Warrensburg: they outscored them in every quarter. Corinth blew past Warrensburg 51-30 on Tuesday. The Riverhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.

Cameron and Sage Shanahan were among the main playmakers for Corinth as the former posted 19 points along with seven boards and three steals and the latter almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 11 rebounds. The game was Cameron's third in a row with at least 19 points. Heather Pita was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.
Corinth smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in four consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Lake George hadn't done well against Whitehall recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Lake George skirted past Whitehall 31-29.
Corinth better keep an eye on Collier-Fisher. She was instrumental in Lake George's win, dropping a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Collier-Fisher is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down 11 or more in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Madyson Brennan, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds.
Corinth pushed their record up to 13-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.8 points. As for Lake George, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Corinth has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 34.4 boards per game. However, it's not like Lake George struggles in that department as they've been averaging 44.3 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
