Basketball Recap: Glen Oaks Takes a Loss

Glen Oaks lost against Parkview Baptist back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Glen Oaks Panthers took a blow against the Parkview Baptist Eagles, falling 78-34. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 234th, while the Eagles are ranked 45th).

Glen Oaks has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-25 record this season. As for Parkview Baptist, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

Glen Oaks will challenge Thrive Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Glen Oaks is facing Thrive Academy at the right time seeing as Thrive Academy is stuck on a 16-game losing streak. As for Parkview Baptist, they will head out to take on Cohen at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
