Softball Recap: Becton Takes a Loss

Becton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the North Arlington Vikings, falling 12-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-1 back in April.

Becton's loss dropped their record down to 0-19. As for North Arlington, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Becton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 18-3 defeat against West Orange on the 16th. As for North Arlington, they will welcome Saddle Brook at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Falcons have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
